FREE breakfast workshop on renewable energy for SME’s – 24th February 2011 - 09 February 11

Dacorum Borough Council is working in partnership with the Low Carbon Development Initiative (LCDI) to accelerate renewable energy systems in Maylands by removing some of the typical barriers and early stage project risks.

SME’s are invited to attend a workshop and networking breakfast on Thursday 24th February 2011 at Holiday Inn, Breakspear Way. The free event, which includes breakfast, will walk through the various renewable energy technologies and the suitable applications, look at the financial incentives and how you can save money by reducing your energy bills, as well as provide time to network with other like-minded businesses. LCDI are honoured to have David Lloyd, Deputy Leader, Hertfordshire County Council to open the workshop and outline the importance of the low carbon agenda to Hertfordshire.

The workshop is free to attend for any SME based in the East of England, and no prior knowledge of renewable energy systems is required to attend. We strongly encourage you to attend the workshop as eligible businesses will also benefit from a follow up site visit and additional one to one assistance to develop an energy and carbon management plan tailored to your business at no cost. For more details please see the attached invite and booking form. Please forward the invite to other SME’s that may be interested in attending the event. Places are limited, so please register early.
